Larry Russell Moomey, 85 of Owaneco, passed away at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in his home. He was born on November 3, 1938, in Pana, the son of Russell and Minnie (Mink) Moomey. He married Penny Satterlee on November 7, 1958, in Owaneco. He graduated from Taylorville High School in 1957. Larry mowed bin sites in the eastern part of the state and worked at the Christian County Highway Department building roads and bridges. Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
