Alesia K. Winchester, 63 of Virden passed away peacefully October 21, 2024 at St. John’s Hospital, with her loving husband by her side. She was born September 7, 1961 in Danville, IL the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Jones) Mollett. She married Kevin Winchester on June 5, 1993 in Taylorville and he survives her passing.
Alesia had a caring heart, which led her to be a Certified Nursing Assistant, specializing in Hospice Care. She loved riding motorcycles with her husband and was a member of ABATE and the HOG Bike Club. She had a special place in her heart for her dog, Cooper.
In addition to her loving husband, Kevin of Virden, she is survived by her daughter, Mary (Dan) Wallace of Rochester; 11 grandchildren; her Mother, Mary Mollet of Taylorville; brothers Kenneth Mollet, Jr. of Taylorville and Tommy (Susie) Mollet of Owaneco; sister Sherrie (Ron) Rogers of Taylorville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alesia was preceded in death by her father, brother, John Mollet and her son, William Alberts.
In keeping with her wishes, Cremation Rites will be accorded with Celebration of Life Services held at a later date.
Memorials are suggested and may be made to Prairieland Ambulance and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Alesia’s family.
