Rodell L. Gross, 80 of Taylorville, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Prairie Rose Health Care Center in Pana.  He was born on December 7, 1943, in Taylorville, the son of Benjamin and Turia (Buckner) Gross.  He married Patricia Stanley on March 13, 1968, in Taylorville.  Rodell proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was a member of the Taylorville Southern Baptist Church.  He previously worked at Wareham’s Dairy, Commonwealth Eddison, and Kroger. 

He is survived by his wife: Patricia Gross of Taylorville; son: Dan Gross of Taylorville; and siblings: Jim Gross (Diane) and Velma Davis (Larry).  He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with Rodell’s wishes, he will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
