Clarence L Christopher Jr passed away at the age of 77, November 10th, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL.  Junior was a native to Edinburg Community not just an Alumni graduate at Edinburg High School, he resided there for many years. Junior graduated from Lincoln Land Community College as an Electrician.

Junior was a very dedicated worker. From 1968-1983 he worked at Continental Grain. In 1983 to 1997 Junior and Marilyn ventured into the bar business where they met so many wonderful people.  2000 to 2020 Junior ran Carey's Disposal with his current wife Grace. A lifetime of achievements even after retirement Junior was still working.

He was a man who consistently brought laughter and smiles to everyone he met.  He loved reading and sharing captivating book recommendations. His passion for history was exceptional. As well as playing a great game of cards. Throughout it all he remained our father, grandfather, great grandfather and husband.

He leaves behind his wife Grace, daughter Nina Ayers (Mike), son Arron (Amy) Christopher;
grandchildren: Christopher, Steven, Angie, Emmy and Hadlee; a great-granddaughter Bella, as well as several siblings, nieces and nephews.

There will not be a service, but a celebration of life will be announced at a later date to embark on his life. Now both parents are together again watching over our family. He will be missed dearly.
