Glen Neal, 82, of Taylorville, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025.  Glen was born October 8, 1942, the son of Orville and Ruth (Lass) Survey.  He married Janis A. Neal on August 30, 1969, in Fairfield.  She preceded him in death on July 12, 2021.

 

Surviving are his daughters, Lisa (Robert) Blades, and Kerry (Paul) Vaughn; a son, Bryan Neal; his sister, Karen Brune; his brother, Larry Neal; and several grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janis; his son, Scott Neal; and his brothers, Johnny and Bill Neal.  

 

Glen was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed deer hunting with his son, Scott. His family meant the world to him.  He enjoyed being around the grandchildren and spending time with Janis.  Glen and Janis enjoyed dining out with friends and taking rides through the country to look for deer. He also loved listening to music.  

 

Private family services will be held.
