Harold Wayne Jeffers, 63 of Taylorville passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 6:20 p.m. at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL. He was born on April 23, 1962, in Litchfield, IL the son of Claude and Martha (Tyler) Jeffers. He married Bonnie J. Martin and they enjoyed 34 years together. He worked for 30 years at Waste Management as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He enjoyed gardening and fishing for many years. More than anything he loved his family, by whom he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife: Bonnie J. Jeffers of Taylorville; children: Joshua (Jennifer) Jeffers of Witt, IL; Kira Heinrich of Taylorville; Kyle Jeffers of Litchfield, IL; Aaron Jeffers of Gilespie, IL and Rachel (Ryan) England of Loami, IL; thirteen grandchildren; and siblings: Phyllis Jett and Ada Lane of Litchfield, IL; Chas (Sandy) Jeffers of  Hillsboro, IL; Mary (Lonnie) Scott and Ruth Cooper of Langleyville, IL; brother-in-law: Larry Jett of Litchfield, IL and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Ruby Forrest, Claudette Jett, Patricia Jansen, Marilee Jeffers, Cecelia Tyler, Andrew Jeffers, John Jeffers, Robert Jeffers and Edna Cooper.
