Jeffrey A. Mendenhall, 46 of Oconee, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Pana Community Hospital.  He was born on January 22, 1979, in Decatur, the son of Bradley and Patricia (Incarnato) Mendenhall.  He married Melissa Baker on July 19, 2013, in Decatur.  Jeff worked for many years at Walmart, most recently at the Taylorville store where he was an assistant manager.  He enjoyed sports of all types, playing video games, and spending time outdoors. 

He is survived by his children: Emm Mendenhall and Zoey Mendenhall both of Oconee; stepchildren: Alexis Earnest of Taylorville and Daniel Earnest of Moweaqua; grandson: Jude Rodgers of Taylorville; stepmother: Vickie Mendenhall of Florida; and sister: Christi Brion (Jeremy) of Decatur.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Jeff will be cremated, and his family will host a celebration of life at a later date.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
