Twila Campbell, 92, of Mt. Auburn, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at her residence. She was born on August 24, 1932, in Mosquito Township, to the late Harold and Ruth (Dingman) Elder. On February 1, 1951, she married Daniel Campbell in Mt. Auburn, and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2020.

Twila was strong in her faith and was an active member of Berea Christian Church. She was a homemaker and was a talented gardener. She was known for her beautiful flower garden.

She is survived by her children: Sharon (Larry) Werve of Mt. Auburn, IL; Peggy (Mark)) Coffey of Taylorville, IL; Dennis (Tammy) Campbell of Illiopolis, IL; Randy (Wendi) Campbell of Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Rana (Bob) O’Connell; Kyle (Jamie) Werve; Brandi (Jeremy) Clayton; Kara (Tad) McCullough; Rian (Jackie) Campbell; Erin (Matt) Horne; Hillary (Jeremy) Danenberger; Josh (Libby) Campbell; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Twila was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 10:00-12:00 noon at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. A funeral service will begin at noon with Pastor James Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
