Randall Lynn Brumett, 63, of Taylorville passed away August 26th, 2025, at his home.
He was born on January 23, 1962, in Decatur, the son of Lloyd and Mary Kay Henne Brumett. Randy graduated from Decatur High School – Class of 1980. He married Terrie Lunsford on October 14, 2022, in Taylorville and she survives. Randy worked at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in housekeeping. He loved to ride his bike, and after e-bikes came out, Randy & Terrie would be found riding bikes together around Taylorville.
Randy is survived by his wife: Terrie Brumett of Taylorville, parents: Lloyd and Mary Kay Brumett of Decatur, siblings: Kelly (Chris) Ralph and Craig Brumett. Children: Bryan and Brandon Brumett, stepchildren: Timothy (fiancé: Stefanie), Kody (fiancé: Samantha) Campbell, and Brandon (Tonya) Campbell. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 5 step-grandchildren.
Per Randy’s wishes, cremation rites are to be accorded with no services at this time.
