Clifford E. Oller, 92 of Edinburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. He was born on April 27, 1933, in Edinburg, the son of Clifford Allen and Marjorie Pearl (Yonker) Oller. He married Marilyn J. Allen on December 12, 1952, in Edinburg, and she preceded him in death on February 3, 2019. Cliff served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany at the end of the Korean War. For over 62 years he owned and operated Oller Electric. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a man who dedicated his life to his work and his family.
He is survived by his children: Terri Beckham (Steve) and Brian Oller (Tabitha) both of Edinburg; grandchildren: Jared Beckham (Jill), Seth Beckham (Danielle), Noah Oller, and Cambelle Oller; great grandchildren: Taylor Beckham, Reese Beckham, Chase Beckham, and Ramsey Beckham; sister: Joanne Pollard of Taylorville; sister-in-law: Wilma (Buddy) Daniels and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
A funeral service for Clifford will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Robinson officiating. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church and burial, with veteran’s honors, will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
