Betty was united in marriage to Delmar L. Smail on July 9, 1949, in Fayette County.  Delmar passed away on December 30, 1986.  They had 4 children, all who survive.  Betty and Delmar attended the First United Methodist Church in Greenville and later Betty was a member of the Greenville First Christian Church.
