Debra Kay Davis, 70 of Pleasant Plaines, passed away on October 13, 2025, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  She was born on January 10, 1955, in Springfield, the daughter of William and Rosalie (LeClercq) DeHart.  She married James “Jim” Davis on August 2, 1986, in Springfield, and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2008.  Debby worked for the State of Illinois for many years and was a member of Peter Cartwright United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed crafts, and spending winters in Florida. 

She is survived by her sister: Cindy DeHart of Taylorville. 

Mrs. Davis was cremated, and a graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
