Michael Dean Wicker, 61, of Taylorville, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025. He was born on August 17, 1964, in Pana, IL, to the late Charles and Sarah (Stallings) Wicker. On April 24, 1993, he married Robin Wicker in Tovey, IL. They spent many loving years together and she survives.

Michael is survived by his wife: Robin Wicker of Taylorville, IL; son: Michael Wicker Jr. of Decatur, IL; stepson: Nicholas Morehead of Decatur, IL; grandchildren: Myles and Roman Wicker; sister: Susan Nance and brother: Bobby Wicker both of Tennessee; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his two brothers, Charles and Jim Wicker.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pastor Gerald McPhillips will be officiating.
