Randy E. Prince Sr., 73 of Taylorville, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in his home.  He was born on June 13, 1952, in Taylorville, the son of Chester and Juanita (Hare) Prince.  He celebrated 25 years of marriage to Jane Joett Prince before her passing in 1991.  Later he married Rebecca Graham on January 31, 1993.  Randy graduated from Kincaid High School and worked as a millwright for Nortrak in Decatur.  He enjoyed sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals and University of Illinois.  He enjoyed time spent as a coach for youth baseball and football in Kincaid.

He is survived by his wife: Rebecca Prince of Taylorville; sons: Randy E. Prince Jr. (Heather Gettings) of Decatur, Todd Prince (Emily) of Ramsey, and Tim Graham and Tyler Prince of Taylorville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings: Sam Prince (Nancy) of Kincaid, Shirley Clark of Jeisyville, and Charlie Prince (Susan) of Kincaid; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents: daughter: Audra Prince-Koonce; infant daughter: Jessica Prince; grandson: Brian James Koonce; and siblings: Donald Prince, Larry Prince, and Wanda Owens.

Mr. Prince will be cremated, and the family will host a celebration of life at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Prince family.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
