Our precious baby boy, James Everett Blakley III, was born into the arms of Jesus on November 12, 2025, at 11:28pm. Though his time with us was brief, he filled our hearts with a love that will last forever.

James was lovingly named in honor of his great-grandfather and grandfather, carrying a legacy of strength, kindness, and family. Even in his short time, he became a part of that legacy—our little James, forever cherished.

He is deeply loved by his parents, Joel and Grace (Jeffrey) Blakley, and will always be remembered by his grandparents, great-grandparents, and all who awaited his arrival with joy.

Though we were not granted the time we hoped for, James’s life touched ours in a way that will never fade. We take comfort knowing he is held safely in God’s arms, wrapped in perfect peace and love. We hold him in our hearts until we can hold him again in Heaven.

James is survived by his parents, maternal grandparents: Adam and Jean Ann; paternal grandparents: Jim and Kim Blakley; maternal great-grandparents: Dennis and Anna Jeffrey; Lois Lehwalder; paternal great-grandparents: Linda Blakley; Jim and Pam Johnson; several nieces and nephews.  Private Family 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Private Family Funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation starting at 11:00 am with Pastor Rod Hite and Pastor Stan Pratt officiating. Burial in Bethany Cemetery in Kincaid, IL
