Randall Jackson, age 51 of Donnellson, Illinois, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
Born March 2, 1974, Randall was the son of Jerry Lee and Dianne Dee (Sussenbach) Jackson. He was born and raised in Greenville, attended public schools, and graduated from Greenville High School. He worked at the Spring Factory and after they closed became a truck driver. Randall was working for DC Waste out of Hillsboro, Illinois.
Randall was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, and just loved being outdoors. He had his dogs, horse, and chickens that he looked after daily. He was also what you might call a gearhead. Randall loved working, tearing apart, and rebuilding engines.
Surviving is his son, Aaron Jackson and wife Lauren of Coffeen, Illinois and their two sons Tate and Tucker. He is also survived by his father Jerry, brothers: Jeff “Bodean” (Denise) Jackson of Smithboro, Dave (Lindsey) Jackson of Greenville, Gary “Gooch” (Debbie) Jackson of Smithboro, and sister Mellisa (Chris) Higgens of Goreville, Illinois.
Preceded in death by his mother Dianne Dee (Sussenbach) Jackson who passed away February 22, 2014.
A celebration of Life will be held at the Greenville VFW Hall Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The family will have a private interment in Union Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Donnell – Wiegand Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
