Betty graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1952 and moved to Medford, OR where she worked at Bateman’s Café where she met the love of her life, Maurice Daniken. She was a member of the First Christian Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, VBS Teacher, and in the choir. Betty had a special fondness for old western movies and loved to read.
