Wayne T. Porter, 72 of Taylorville, passed away on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, surrounded by his family in his home. He was born on February 13th, 1953, in Rhode Island. He married Venesse Bozell on January 29, 1993, in Taylorville.
He is survived by his wife: Venesse Porter; daughter: Nichole Porter; grandsons: Thomas Porter and Hudson Porter; sisters-in-law: Debra Hocking and Laura Lush (Kenny). Wayne also had a bonus-daughter: Michelle Malone; bonus-granddaughter: Emma Malone; very special friends: Meagan and Eddie Martinez; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister: Gayle; brothers: Scott and Brian; Mother: Edna; and mother-in-law: Evelyn.
In keeping with his wishes, Wayne will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
