Mary Ann Willis, 87 of Taylorville, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.  She was born on October 10, 1938, in Nokomis, the daughter of Hollis and Iris (Myers) Dilley.  She married Fred Jones and together they had 2 children: Mary and Bob.  They later divorced and she later married Robert Willis in 1983, and they spent many wonderful years together before his passing on September 22, 2021. 

Mary was a well-known barmaid for many years at the Rendezvous and Dooley’s Corner Tavern.  She loved tending to her yard and flowers and would never pass up a good rummage sale.  She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her Nazarene Church family.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughter: Mary Durbin (David “Termite”); son: Bob Jones; several step-children; grandchildren: Missy Skultety (Chris), Mindy Mills (Alan), Randy Jones (Lacey), and Kristy Jones; great grandchildren: Emma and Elli Skultety, Jace Wagoner, Kenzie Miller, Savannah Brune, Lilly, Nora and Thea Jones; siblings: Chuck Dilley (Shirley), Helen Ferrill (Jim), along with many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, and brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bob; beloved sister: Carol Dilley Light; and niece Kim Maxwell.

A funeral service for Mary Ann will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at McClure Funeral Home with Pastor Russ Burch and Pastor Jim Ferrill officiating.  The visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.  Memorials may be made to the Taylorville Food Pantry.  McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
