Chad Hull, 39, of Taylorville, IL, passed away on January 14, 2026, at his residence. He was born on September 10, 1986, in Springfield, IL, to David J. Cline and Debra D. Rhodes. Chad worked in construction as a contractor for many years. He was a true handyman and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to go fishing. He loved animals, listening to music, and singing. Above all, he was a proud father and cherished the time spent with his children.

Chad is survived by his mother: Debra Harris; his children’s mother: Hayley Hull; children: Gauge Hull; Colton Hull; Remmington Hull; Isiah Hull; his brother: Dustin Cline (Debbie Sizemore); step-mother: Marilyn Cline; step-sisters: Patricia Blanford (Al) and Stephanie Bingham (Rick); step-brother: Joseph Campogni; great-grandmother: Linda Hodson; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father: David Cline; brother: Ric Cline; aunts: Judy Funk and Carol Leach; as well as his grandparents: Verdie and Juanita Rhodes, and Raymond and Dorothy Cline.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m.

Memorials in his honor may be graciously made to Sutton Memorial Home to assist with funeral expenses.
