Tamie Lynn Martin, 51, of Kincaid, IL, passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 21, 2026. She was born in Taylorville, IL, on January 12, 1975, to the late Terry and Sheila Long. She married Walter Martin on March 29, 1995, and together they were blessed with four children.

Tamie was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, and worked as a server in a gaming parlor. She had a big heart and loved deeply. She always made it a priority to check in on her loved ones, making sure they were okay and reminding them they were cared for. Tamie treasured her family and her sons were her pride and joy. She adored her grandchildren and had a special way of making each of them feel uniquely cherished. In her spare time, Tamie enjoyed doing diamond art, painting, and crafting, often sharing her creativity with those around her. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, warm smile, and her desire to help others.

She is survived by her husband: Walter Martin; sons: Dusten (Laura) Martin; Joshua Martin; Codey (Katie) Martin; Jeremy Martin; grandchildren: Myla, Savaya, Kelby, Riley, Apollo, and Ares; as well as her siblings: Danette Charnetzky; Jason (Marsha) Long; Melinda Long; as well as her aunt: Lois Booker. Tamie was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Chad Foster officiating. Following the funeral service, cremation rites will be accorded, and inurnment will be held at a later time.

Memorials may be graciously made to the wishes of the donor.
