Deborah J. Radzimanowsky, 70 of Taylorville, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on June 5, 1955, in Taylorville, the daughter of James and Vesta (Prior) Hendricks. She married John W. Radzimanowsky on December 14, 1974, in Taylorville, and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2021.
Debbie previously worked at True Value and retired from the City of Taylorville. Debbie will be remembered for the simple joys that filled her days and the love she shared with her family. She found happiness in tending her garden, painting, antiquing, cooking, and watching the birds that visited her yard. One of her favorite places was the pergola in her backyard, where she enjoyed the quiet and beauty around her. Debbie loved attending her grandchildren’s activities, gathering everyone together for family dinners, and occasionally trying her luck at the slot machines. She also shared a special tradition with her granddaughter, always searching for the perfect turtle sundae. Above all, Debbie will be remembered for the warmth, laughter, and love she brought to the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her daughters: Tina Paine (Chad) of Tovey and Kristi Carey (Shane) of Taylorville; grandchildren: Daniel Brest II, Alexis Scott (Donnie Wise), Ava Carey and Cohen Carey; great grandchildren: Ronan Wise and Veda Wise; sisters-in-law: Mary Tolle and Donna Radzimanowsky both of Taylorville; and nieces and nephews: Terri, Gary, Brandon, Angie, Brandy, Brian, and Jeff.
