Kristine L. Colclasure, 79, of Grand Island passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 2 p.m. with visitation an hour prior. Dan Naranjo will officiate. Family burial will take place at a later date in Taylorville, IL.
Kristine was born on December 15, 1946 in Taylorville, IL, daughter of Roy and Elizabeth (McQuiggen) Pounds. After completing the 8th Grade in Taylorville, she helped her mother with her younger siblings.
On February 14, 1967 Kristine married Rea Ellis Colclasure they made their home in Taylorville.
In 1980, Kristine came to Central City. She owned and operated Krisy’s Place in Central City for about 5 years. She was also employed by JBS of Grand Island for 33 years.
Kristine enjoyed trying her luck at playing the lottery, scratch tickets and blackjack. She kept in touch with friends and family often on Facebook. She looked forward to her visits with her extended family in Illinois and attending grandsons and great-grandchildren’s events. Kristine was an avid Husker Football fan and Bronco football fanatic.
She is survived by her children, Chrystal Pounds of Taylorville, IL, Chuck Colclasure of Grand Island and Colsita Sue Colclasure of Grand Island; grandchildren, Brandon (Liz) Colclasure, Brock (Tristen) Colclasure, and Thomas (Kayla) Greiger; great-grandchildren, Karstyn, Haidyn, Alek, Penny, Wesley, Everet, Callahan and one due in June; brother, Richard (Hilda) Pounds and sister, Mona (Terry) Ream; sister-in-law, Amie (Joe) Pounds; numerous extended family and friends.
Kristine was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Dale Warren; siblings, Douglas Pounds, Diane Winchester, Nancy Kevie, Joseph Pounds and Lou Verda Marcus.
All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements; memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
