Seymone Alexis Pelichoff, 36 of Taylorville, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.  She was born on April 9, 1990, the daughter of Steven Aaron Roemer and Jennifer Helen Ward. 

Seymone was a beautiful free spirit whose personality was as big as her heart. She had a passion for the little things that many people overlook — being outdoors, feeling the grass beneath her bare feet, watching the stars, spending time near the water, and a love for music. She carried a light within her that naturally drew people to her. Her positive energy and infectious laugh could brighten any room she entered, and her kind soul left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Seymone lived life with an open heart and found joy in simple moments. She was the kind of person who made others feel seen, loved, and accepted. Her warmth, compassion, and caring nature will continue to be remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Above all else, Seymone loved being a mother. Her children were her whole world and her greatest purpose in life. The love she had for them was endless and unconditional, and they were the center of her heart. 

She is survived by her beloved children, Dexter Pelichoff, Milo Pelichoff, Quincy Pelichoff, Cameron Humes. Also, her beloved stepchildren Tripp and Klairaa Pelichoff of Taylorville.

She is also survived by her siblings and loved ones: Brittany Roemer and Brandon, along with their children Dyllin, Lilyin, Madylin, and Finley; Logan Roemer and Brianna; Kirsten and Michael Proctor; Maeghanne Roemer; McKenzie Reid; Dustin Reid; and Jaidyn Kramer and Jeremiah, along with their children Izabella and Dennis.
