Richard W. Jenkins
December 12, 1946-June 1, 2026

Richard Jenkins was born December 12, 1946, in Taylorville, IL the son of Paul and Mary Lowe Jenkins of Morrisonville, IL. He married Jacki Thompson on December 3, 1965 at the Methodist Church in Taylorville, IL.

Richard attended Morrisonville High School graduating with the class of 1965. He began working at Woolworth in Decatur, IL and later managed Woolworth's in Bloomington, IL. At the time of his death he worked for Macki & Associates Heating & Air Conditioning in Antioch, IL. as General Manager for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Jacki and sons Cary and Gary, six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Siblings Robert Jenkins (Mary) of Temecula, CA and Shirley Dilley (Chuck) of Taylorville as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Jenkins.

A celebration of life WILL BE held to honor and remembrance of Richard on July 12, 2026 at the Lake Villa Township Park in Lake Villa, IL.
