Ryan “Bubba” Stolz, 41 of Decatur passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 6:45 a.m. at his home in Decatur. He was born on May 4, 1985, in Decatur, IL, the son of Ronnie Earl Stolz and Laura (Smith) Cundiff. Bubba went to Taylorville High School and worked as an operator at Tate and Lyle.

Bubba is survived by his Mom: Laura Cundiff of Decatur, IL; Sisters: Amy Stolz of Decatur, Mandy Stolz-Leigh of Decatur, IL; Lisa Stolz of Decatur, IL; Erica Cundiff of Decatur, IL; Cousin: Bruce Stolz Jr. and several other cousins, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his dad, Aunt Connie Stolz, Grandfather Lawrence Stolz, Cousin Beau Ford.     

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation starting at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Andy Troyer officiating. Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery in Nokomis, IL
