Mrs. Connie J. Anderson, 63, of rural Rochester, IL passed from this life at home on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

She was born in Taylorville, IL on July 26, 1963, the daughter of LeRoy Shelton and Bonnie Fleming.

Ms. Anderson honorably served her country in the US Army for six years stationed in Georgia, Germany and Saudi Arabia.  She received a bachelor’s degree in business management from SIU, Springfield, IL.  For the last 26 years she worked for the State of Illinois with the Department of Human Services lastly as a Disability Claims Specialist.

Surviving are a daughter Shawnda (husband Jason) Ross of Ramsey, MN., a son Dustin (companion Sabrina Lyles) Anderson of Springfield, IL., her grandchildren Draven, Lyric, Autumn and Rose Anderson and Davina Ross along with her special companion Louis Selzer of Kincaid, IL., and siblings Robert (Toni) Germann and Scott (Tajna) Fleming.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Jeff Germann.

Full Graveside Military Honors by the United States Army and the Inter-veterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Camp Butler National Cemetery.  A short committal will follow by Pastor David Johnson.  Following the graveside service a funeral luncheon will be held for the continued sharing of memories for Connie at South Fork Church – 7898 Johnson Rd. – Rochester, IL - 62563  Masterson Funeral Home is honored to be assisting her family with arrangements.
