Mr. George F. Westenhaver, Jr., 49, of Tovey, IL., passed from this life at 2:55 A.M. Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Taylorville, IL on Friday, December 10, 1976 the son of George F and Judy A. (Adams) Westenhaver, Sr.

Young Mr. Westenhaver enjoyed fishing, mowing yards, watching wrestling, playing play station with the kids, spending time with his family and especially playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by a daughter Paige (Kyle) Myers of Ramsey, IL a son Brent (Elizabeth) Westenhaver of Vandalia, IL., 6 grandchildren Jaxon, Jadyn, Jonah, Judah, Jorgie, and Izabella, a 7th grandchild (Baby Girl Westenhaver #2) due in January, his siblings Cathy (Robert) Lumb of Kincaid, IL Tim (Chris) Westenhaver of Taylorville, IL., Mary Walters of Springfield, IL., Georgia (David) Blake of Kincaid, IL., Shirley Westenhaver of Athens, IL., Randy Westenhaver of Centralia, IL., Sophia (Brad) Mallinson of Warsaw, MO along with many nieces nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

A Memorial Gathering and Celebration of Life for George Jr., will be held from 10 to 11 A.M. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Masterson Funeral Home in Kincaid, IL.  At 11 A.M. there will be a short prayer service and an opportunity for people to share memories.  Burial will follow in Mt.
