Terry L Long of Taylorville

Terry L. Long, 70, of Taylorville, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IL. He was born July 5, 1944 in Taylorville, IL. The Son of Clarence and Alice (Garrett) Long. He married Sheila Booker on May 23, 1986 at Kincaid Baptist Church in Kincaid, IL.  and she later preceded him in death on September 30, 2012. He was a retired coal miner and he had also worked for Bob Ridings in Taylorville. He was a member of the VFW Post #4495 in Taylorville and also the American Legion Post # 73 in Taylorville. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his Son: Jason (Marsha) Long of Stonington, IL; Daughters: Melinda (A.J.) McKinney of Taylorville, IL; Step-Daughter: Tamie (Walter) Martin of Kincaid, IL; Grandchildren: Kyler, Millenia, Keeley and Jaron Mink all of Taylorville, IL; Sheryce, Quentin and Erin Long all of Stonington, IL; Dusten, Codey, Joshua and Jeremy Martin all of Kincaid, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife Sheila, Bob Long, William “Billy” Long.  
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Chad Foster officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.

Geraldine June Driskill of Taylorville

Geraldine June Driskill, 87, of Taylorville, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 12:20 p.m. at Meadow Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorville. She was born April 24, 1927 in Whitten, SD. The Daughter of Perva and Lucille (Love) Smith. She married Lloyd J. Driskill on June 6, 1948 in Hannibal, MO and he later preceded her in death on June 13, 1990. She was a retired book keeper and she also worked at Bryan and Bruns Furniture Store. She was also a Member and Secretary at Way of Life Church in Taylorville.  


She is survived by her Sons: Alan Driskill of Bluffs, IL; Brad (Melissa) Driskill of Taylorville, IL; Carey Driskill of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Ryan Driskill of Chesterfield, MO; Erin Driskill of Taylorville, IL; Jennifer Waters of Taylorville, IL; Great-Grandchildren: Kevin and Kylee Waters of Taylorville, IL; Sisters: Jeannie Whalen of California; Pervalou Windmiller of Columbia, MO; Dema (George) Sevcov of California; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son: Dale Driskill, Sisters: Dorothy Powell, Vivian Hall.


Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Stan Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Riverton, IL. Visitation will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 from 11:00-12:00 Noon at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.

Don L. Genschaw of Taylorville

Don L. Genschaw, 87, of Taylorville, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at 4:56 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born May 18, 1927 in Gary, IN. The Son of Vernon and Ona Marie (Powell) Genschaw. He married Arden Joyce Tetrault on April 15, 1950 in Kankakee, IL and she preceded him in death on December 13, 2009 and then he later married Patricia Dupuis on October 28, 2011 in Taylorville, IL. He retired from Commonwealth Edison. He was also a member of the VFW Post #4495, and he served in the United States Navy on the USS Grand Canyon in WWII.


He is survived by his Wife: Patricia of Taylorville, IL; Daughters: Laurie (John) Elliott of The Woodlands, TX; Lesa (Steve) Wilcox of Simpsonville, KY; Lynn (Mike) Winn of Palm City, FL; Grandchildren: Brandon and Brent Elliott of Texas; Lindsey (Jason) Pierce of Kentucky, Leah Wilcox of Kentucky, Kent Wilcox of North Carolina and Tate Wilcox of Kentucky; Hunter and Connor Winn of Florida; Great-Granddaughter: Eliza Pierce of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his Parents, First Wife Arden and a Grandson Seth.


Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Dennis G. Denny Daugherty of Morrisonville

Dennis G. “Denny” Daugherty, 63 of Morrisonville passed away at 6:30 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at his home.

He was born on April 2, 1951 at Litchfield the son of Glenn L. and Mary E. (Easley) Daugherty. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Denny worked for Springfield Clinic and was in charge of the printing department. He was a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and was a member of the Alumni Association. He was also a member of Advent Christian Church in Palmer, Odd Fellows, Illinois Coaches Association Hall of Fame and a longtime Morrisonville Village Board member. Denny loved high school sports and did statistics for many area schools.

Survivors include: Brothers, Robert “Doc” (wife, Barbara) Daugherty of Morgantown, KY and James “Dot” (wife, Sue) Daugherty of Danville, IL; Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends..

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 28 at Morrisonville High School Gymnasium with Darrin Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Ridge Cemetery, Atwater.. Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Morrisonville High School Gymnasium.

Katherine Scarlett Coval of Kincaid

Katherine Scarlett Coval, 19, of Kincaid, IL passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 5:02 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born August 2, 1995 in Springfield, IL. The Daughter of Rodney and Stephanie (Moreland) Gatton Sr. and Eric and Jennifer Coval. She worked as a cashier at McDonalds in Taylorville, IL. She was an Organ and Tissue Donor, and was also a creative writer. She wrote many poems and short stories.  She also loved Music, children and animals.


She is survived by her Parents: Rodney and Stephanie Gatton Sr. of Kincaid, IL Eric and Jennifer Coval of Mahomet, IL; Brothers: Rodney (Kathryn) Gatton Jr. of Ft. Martha L. Durbin of Taylorville

Martha L. Durbin, 70, of Taylorville, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at 12:40 a.m. at 8:10 a.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville. She was born September 24, 1944 in Decatur, IL. The Daughter of Lewis Gail and Mildred A. (Armstrong) Brown. She married to James Durbin on December 12, 2007 in Langleyville, IL and he later preceded her in death. She retired as a secretary for Illinois Consolidated. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #1516, Taylorville Eagles Club and VFW #4495 ladies Auxiliary.  


She is survived by her Sister: Pam Ramey of Pana, IL; Nieces and Nephews: Brittany Ramey of Pana, IL, Lou Ramey of Charleston, IL; Kevin Ramey of Florida; Laura Ramey of Colorado; Several Step Children and Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her Husband James Durbin.


Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Inurnment will be in Bethel Cemetery in Blue Mound, IL at a later date.

Elsie I. Holstlaw of Taylorville

Elsie I. Holstlaw, 84, of Taylorville, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 3:28 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born June 16, 1930 in Rural Morrisonville, IL. The Daughter of Fred and Oleva (Oller) Borkhardt. She married Calvin Hendricks and they were later divorced and then she married Leroy Holstlaw and they were also later divorced. She was a Retired cook and legend of Bill’s Toasty Shop for 30 years in Taylorville. Her family and friends are the most important to her and “Mom” to many others. She enjoyed her gambling trips with her best friend Jenny McKinney.

John Wayne Rozplochowski of Taylorville

John Wayne Rozplochowski, 35, of Taylorville, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 7:35 a.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville, IL. He was born December 20, 1979 in Mt. Vernon, IL. The Son of Dwight and Pamela (Brown) Rozplochowski. He worked as a Salesman for Marketing Alternatives, Inc. in Taylorville, IL. He was a loving Father and Uncle and was proud of his Daughter, Nieces and His Nephews.  He was a wonderful Artist and especially loved Anime.  He studied Mixed Martial Arts and had trained to become a MMA fighter earlier in life.


He is survived by his Father: Dwight Rozplochowski of Taylorville, IL; Daughter: Raven Cathleen Rozplochowski and her mother Lacey Swinburne of Taylorville, IL; Brothers: Jesse Rozplochowski of Taylorville, IL and Douglas Rozplochowski of Taylorville, IL; Sisters: Samantha (Anthony) Barstow of Kincaid, IL, Danielle Cunningham of Kincaid, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother Pamela, His Grandparents, Sister Beverly Jean Murphy, Nephews Drake Rozplochowski, Riley Coash and Scott Douglas Rozplochowski.


In keeping with his wishes, cremation rites were accorded and Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.

Marilyn McShanog of Savoy

Marilyn McShanog, 81, of Savoy, IL formerly of Christian County, died at 3:00 am Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Helia Healthcare, Champaign, IL.

She was born June 15, 1933 in Morrisonville, IL the daughter of Lloyd E. and Fern Milslagle Harmon. On June 16, 1956 she married Roland J. “Mac” McShanog in Taylorville. Marilyn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Taylorville and was a retired Realtor.

Surviving are her husband: R.J. “Mac” McShanog of Savoy; Brothers and Sisters: Norma Hubbartt of Taylorville, Ruth Garrett of Taylorville, Elmer Harmon and wife Jody of Taylorville, Charles “Chuck” Harmon and wife Gloria of Springboro, OH, Bertha Hill and husband Nira of Taylorville and Donna Peters and husband Gene of Taylorville; Sister-in-law: Virginia Foster of Watseka; Nieces: Julie Ann Ladd and husband Larry of Watseka and Mary Beth Firestone of Dayton, OH. There are several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 4 Brothers: Wilbur Harmon, Russell Harmon, John Harmon and Lyle Harmon.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 21 at McClure Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Evanchak officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Robert Wetzel of Taylorville

Robert Wetzel, 63 of Taylorville passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10:15 p.m. at  Barns Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  He was born September 24, 1951 in Decatur, IL the son of Rheem and Carla (Thompson) Wetzel. He married Mary Lou Wallace on September 8, 1973 in Taylorville, IL.  He was the Praise and Worship Leader at Way of Life Church, a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association and the NRA. He was saved as a young boy and from that day forward he served his heavenly father. He was a blessed man of God, dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend to all. He loved his family and grandchildren. His hobbies included tinkering on his 280 ZX and he was an avid gun enthusiast. His nickname was Dr. Bob because he could fix anything. After being diagnosed in August with Lymphoma, he faithfully fought for six months and ended well in the presence of the Father.

William B. Boomer Beck of Taylorville

William B. “Boomer” Beck, 59, of Taylorville passed away at 8:53pm, Friday, February 13, 2015 in St. Augustine, Florida. He was born on September 22, 1955 In Bonne Terre, Missouri, the son of Muril and Frances Drum Beck. He grew up in Blue Mound, Illinois. On October 7, 1977 he married Patricia Mizeur in Taylorville. He was a shop foreman at F. J. Murphy & Son in Springfield. He loved to spend time with his family. He also loved to play golf, softball, baseball, and to bowl. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Moose Lodge #1516.

Boomer is survived by his wife: Patty Beck of Taylorville; daughter: Robyn Beck of Taylorville; son: Bryon Beck of St. Louis Missouri; best Friend and faithful companion: Dixie; Mother: Frances Beck, of Blue Mound; brothers: Gary Beck, wife Cindy, of Pennsylvania, Roger Beck, wife Shirley of New Mexico, and Curtis Beck of Blue Mound; sisters: Jan Weathers, husband Michael, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and Barb Beck of Blue Mound. He was preceded in death by his Father, and brother: Donald Beck.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville with Fr. Alan Hunter officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 8pm on Friday at McClure Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 4:45pm Friday. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.

Bonafazio Bonnie M. Ginoli of Taylorville

Bonafazio “Bonnie” M. Ginoli, 92 of Taylorville passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.  He was born July 19, 1922 in Springfield, IL son of Paul and Anna (Frisina) Ginoli.  He married Mary Greenan on February 10, 1947 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville, IL.  He worked as a coal miner and at Georgia Pacific. He delivered Meals on Wheels; he was a Champion Bowler of this area for many years. He was a top horseshoe pitcher and loved to play pool. He attended the Taylorville Schools and he was a graduate of Taylorville Highschool. He enlisted in the U.S. Army where he fought in the European theater of WWII.  He was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville, IL where he was an Usher for over 50 years, Life Member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW Post #4495.


He is survived by his Wife: Mary; Daughters: Bonita Brewer of Bloomington, IL and Ft. Myers Beach, FL; Vicki Ginoli of Springfield, IL; Grandchildren: Shannon Brewer Simmons of Springfield, IL, Brian (Julie) Brewer of Joliet, IL; Joe (Angie) Brewer of Bloomington, IL; David Brewer of Bloomington, IL; Great-Grandchildren: Derek Simmons, Gracie Brewer, Adalyn Brewer, Emma Brewer, Owen Brewer; Brother: Fred Giovagnoli of New York; Several Nieces and Nephews. Harold Eugene Haerr of Taylorville

Harold Eugene Haerr, 90 of Taylorville, IL formerly of Mattoon, IL died at 12:30 am Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Taylorville Care Center.

He was born November 10, 1924 in Olney, IL, the son of John and Mabel Decker Haerr. On February 25, 1950 he married Martha Lagle in Streator, IL. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this February 25. Harold was a member of the First Church of Christ in Mattoon and was last employed by Rural King in Mattoon.

Surviving is his wife: Martha Haerr of Taylorville, Son: Otis Haerr and wife Marlis of Taylorville, Daughter Sylvia Geiling of Texas. There are 5 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, 2 nephews and 1 niece.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Viola Irene Warnsing, 87, of Taylorville, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 4:40 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born August 15, 1927 in Assumption, IL. The Daughter of Elmer and Harriet (Bowers) Chaney. She married Keith Warnsing on September 22, 1954 in Taylorville, IL. She was a homemaker.


She is survived by her Husband: Keith; Sons: Mark (Wanda) Warnsing of Springfield, IL; Randy (Connie) Warnsing of Sullivan, IL; Grandchildren: Andrew (Kelli) Warnsing; Abbey Warnsing; Great-Grandchildren: Anya and Audrey Warnsing; Several Nieces and Nephews. The Daughter of Jose Louis and Adela Melara Velencia. She married John Satterfield on November 21, 1996 in Arlington, VA and he later preceded her in death. She is a retired school teacher and she also retired from the Federal Energy Department. She wrote many children’s books and she was bilingual. She loved to travel all over the world, She loved her cats, she was a wonderful mother, and she was loved by all who knew her.  


She is survived by her Daughter: Velia Moomey of Taylorville, IL; Grandson: Ken Moomey of Taylorville, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and Son-in-law Ken Moomey Sr.


Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Owaneco Cemetery in Owaneco, IL with Father Mariadas Chatla officiating. Inurnment will be in Owaneco Cemetery in Owaneco.

Reta Ann Gowdy of Taylorville

Reta Ann Gowdy, 66, of Taylorville, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00 p.m. at her residence in Taylorville. She was born February 9, 1948 in Rockford, IL. The daughter of Junior P. and Anna (Efinito) Webb. She married Rocky Gowdy and they were later divorced. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her Grandchildren Brandon Michael (Jenny) David; Erica Ann David; Christopher Alan David; Mackenzie Ann David all of Pinckneyville, IL; Angelina, Mariyah, Devon, Erica Wessling of Owaneco, IL; Brothers: Jeff Webb of Taylorville, Dick Webb of Springfield, and James Webb of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Erica Ann David

Richard Thomas Wilson Sr. of Taylorville

Richard Thomas Wilson Sr., 86, of Taylorville, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 10:50 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born March 19, 1928 in Taylorville, IL. The son of  Abraham and Thelma (Rine) Wilson. He married Jean Gibbs on February 29, 1948 in Taylorville, IL. He retired from Borg Warner where he worked as a Machinist and a tool and die maker. Earlier in life, he had also worked as a machinist for the C&IM Railroad.  He was a member of the Davis Memorial Christian Church in Taylorville, a life-member of the Masonic Mound Lodge #122 A.F.&A.M., member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Springfield Consistory, Order of the Eastern Star and the Ansar Shrine.  Richard was an outstanding athlete during his high school career at Taylorville High School and received a full scholarship to Beloit College in both Basketball and Football.  He was a huge Taylorville Tornadoes and Chicago Cubs fan.  Most of all, he loved his family.


He is survived by his wife, Jean Wilson of Taylorville, IL; son, Rich Wilson Jr. of Taylorville, IL; granddaughters, Laura (Steve) Benson of Mt. Vernon, NY, Heather (Jeb) Odam of Taylorville, IL and Maureen (Arby) Wise of Carlinville, IL; great grandchildren Robert and John Benson, Ava and Baron Odam and Ella and Beau Wise; sisters, Madeline (Laverne) Eson of Taylorville, IL and Beverly (Joe) Susnig of Jerseyville, IL along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Wilson and his daughter-in-law Chris Wilson.

Memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Davis Memorial Christian Church in Taylorville with Rev. Bill Kerns officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL.   Visitation will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church with a Masonic Rites service provided by Mound Lodge #122 at 11:45 AM.

Andrew Clarence Dean Gatton, 16, of Kincaid, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 6:15 p.m. on IL Rt. 104 following a traffic accident. He was born June 19, 1998 in Springfield, IL. The Son of Rodney and Stephanie (Moreland) Gatton. He worked as a cook at McDonalds in Taylorville.


He is survived by his Parents: Rodney and Stephanie Gatton Sr. of Kincaid, IL; Brothers: Rodney (Kathryn) Gatton Jr. of Ft. Hood, TX; William Gatton of Kincaid, IL; Sisters: Katherine Coval of Kincaid, IL; Grandparents: Ron and Saundra Moreland of Taylorville, IL; Clarence and Karen Gatton of Petersburg, IL; Great-Grandmother: Lorene Brown of Mulberry Grove, IL; Niece and Nephew: Kendal Turner of Fort Hood, TX; Joel Gatton of Fort Hood, TX; Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Jo Ann Randol, 63, of Langleyville, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 12:40 a.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville. She was born March 23, 1952 in Carlinville, IL. The Daughter of Harold and Marie (Clevenger) Conlee. She married Randy Randol on May 31, 1990 in Taylorville, IL.  She worked as an RN at the area nursing homes.  
She is survived by her Sons: Chris Hasquin of Langleyville, IL; Ken Hasquin of Langleyville, IL; Companion: Randy Randol of Langleyville, IL; Grandchildren: Alicia Chappelle, Codi Hasquin, Brittiany Hasquin, David Hasquin, Collin Hasquin; Siblings: Pete (Helen) Conlee, Sharon (Bob) Citzler, Ronnie Conlee, Chato D’Rae, Sheilla (Fred) Griffith, Bobby Conlee, Janet (Eddie) Navarrete, Gina (Andy) Rungie; Several Nieces and Nephews. Ronald E. Nigh, 59 of Taylorville passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL.  He was born August 28, 1955 in Toledo, OH son of Albert and Levina (Dukeshire) Nigh.  He married Nancy Simmons on February 14, 1998 in Toledo, OH. He retired from a window washing business.

Georgia Marie Elam of Taylorville

Georgia Marie Elam; 88; of Taylorville, IL passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 8:45 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born October  13, 1926 in Taylorville, Il., daughter of Jacob Wm Emerson and Georgia Edith Reber. She married Chester A Elam on October 28, 1944 in Taylorville, Il. She was a homemaker until her children were raised.  She was employed at Franks Food Fair/County Market in Taylorville for 17 years and Taylorville School Dist. Cafeteria for 13 years as a baker.  Georgia loved to cook and everyone loved her cooking skills.  She especially was famous for her chicken noodles and homemade bread rolls. Georgia also enjoyed raising poultry so she could have a chicken or turkey ready at a moments notice. She loved her exotic lilies.


She is survived by her children; sons Steven (Wanda) Elam of Palmer, IL; Martin (Sheryl) Elam of Nokomis, IL, daughters; Bonnie (Preston) Leaderbrand of Spencer, IN, Vickie Dixon of Edinburg, IL, Ellen Elam (Dan Kuchen) of Taylorville; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; brother Tim Emerson of Moweaqua; sister Betty Summers of Dixon, IL, Lula Goins of Taylorville, IL; numerous nieces and nephew and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Chester and ten siblings.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville, IL with Pastor Phillip Neumann officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville, IL. Burial will be at Fraley Cemetery in Taylorville.

Abigail Jo Feller of Springfield

Abigail Jo Feller, 35, of Springfield, formerly of Taylorville and Pana, died at 9:34 am Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Springfield.

She was born June 16, 1979 in Decatur the daughter of Miles W. and Josephine Ellen Warren Feller. Abigail graduated from Pana High School and the University of Illinois at Springfield. She was employed by the Illinois Department of Revenue in Springfield. Her main focus in life was her son, Nolan.

Surviving are her Son: Nolan Maxwell McNear of Athens, Parents: Miles and Josephine Feller of Taylorville, and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Nelson Feller.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville with Pastor Becky Lembke officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of service in the church on Saturday.

Juanita Mae Scott, 92 of Pana passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at 1:35 a.m at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Pana, IL. She was born July 29, 1922 in Pana, IL Daughter of Daniel and Irene (Martin) Closser. She married Rev. L. Dale Pease in Henderson, KY, they were later divorced and then she married Rev. Leslie Wayne Scott and they later preceded her in death. She retired as the Activity Director at Montgomery Terrace and she was also the manager of the cafeteria at Caterpillar in Decatur, IL. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Pana, IL


She is survived by her Son: Greg (Wife Martha) Pease of Cumming, GA; Daughter: Judy Nowlin of Pana, IL; Three Grandchildren; Ten Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, husbands, 1 Son Curren Pease, 1 Granddaughter: 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
